Research In Motion (RIM) today debuted the new
BlackBerry® Bold™ smartphone in Singapore. The BlackBerry Bold smartphone builds
on the proven BlackBerry® smartphone platform with enhanced communications and
multimedia capabilities, and is the first BlackBerry smartphone to support
tri-band HSDPA high-speed networks around the world.
The BlackBerry Bold smartphone is expected to be available in Singapore from
late September 2008. Pricing and service plans will be announced separately by
RIM’s carrier partners.

Palm today announced the launch of the Treo™ Pro, a smartphone combined with
sleek simplicity and robust productivity, and includes compelling features such
as built-in GPS, Wi-Fi, touch-screen and a full keyboard. The Treo™ Pro

Lenovo today unveiled a complete computing solution for small-to-medium
business (SMB) users that includes the new SL series of ThinkPad notebooks,
value-added software and unique new services. Lenovo also announced an
additional six new ThinkPad notebooks and four new IdeaPad notebooks for
consumers, allowing them to express themselves with more choices of color,
including Indigo blue, Bold black and Crimson red. All of the notebooks are

17 June 2008 - StreamMyGame which enables games to be played remotely, has released today a new version of its software targeted at the highly popular Eee PC and Ebox from ASUS and over 100 UMPCs from other manufacturers. Albatron is gearing up to roll out its first Mini Tablet PC,
dubbed the “Tee PC”, whose prototype was first shown at Computex 2008 (June). The 18.8x11.3x 1.3 cm dimensions and 343 grams give you an
idea of how slim and portable the Tee PC really is.
The CPU used with the Tee PC is a 400 MHz ARM926. The Tee PC comes with 128 MB
of Nand flash memory as well as 128MB of SO-DIMM DDR memory. An SD Card
expansion slot is also located on the tablet for removable mass storage.

Lenovo today announced the ThinkPad X301
notebook PC, taking the thinnest and lightest full-function notebook form starting at
about 1.3kg and one-inch thin. The notebook offers even greater storage capacity
with choices of either 64 GB or new 128 GB solid state drive storage available
in September. Pricing for models of the ThinkPad X301 notebook starts at
approximately S$3,900.

users, Dell today announced a completely new line of Latitude and Dell Precision
laptops, ranging from the lightest ultra-portable in the company’s history to
the most powerful mobile workstation.
Dell will offer colors for the first time on Latitude laptops. In addition to
Mica-Brushed Metal, the Latitude E4200, E4300, E6400 and E6500 will be available
in Regatta Blue, Regal Red and Quartz Pink (E4200 only) in the coming weeks. The
E5400 and E500 are available in Matte Black.

The onyx black Centro will be available from 19 July. The recommended retail
price of the Palm Centro without an operator plan is S$598. Centro is available

Just before we say goodbye to Computex Taipei, we managed to lay our hands on
a Acer Aspire One demo unit. Aspire One is internally known as ZG5 and is
powered by Atom N270 at 1.6GHz. Acer is
slated to launch it in July for US$399 and we feel that it is a worthy
competitor to ASUS Eee PC series in terms of specs, look and feel. We learned
that Acer is planning a 10" model as well.
