The DSC-700 comes pre-configured with 4GB of RAM and photo management software. The last unit, the DSC-T500 features the latest ability to bring a HD video ready camera into the compact Cyber-Shot.

27 August 2008 - Creative announced the Creative N400 USB Powered Notebook Speaker System. The Creative N400 is a compact 2.0 Speaker System that is powered and provides digital sound through a single USB cable connected to users’ computer. Each satellite speaker is equipped with a dual 2-inch full range active driver for high efficiency and delivers smooth detailed playback with outstanding bass. The Creative N400 USB Powered Notebook Speaker System will be available in Singapore in mid September 2008 for S$119.00.

26 August 2008 - VR-Zone has learned that Nvidia is moving on to 40nm process much quicker than expected. Nvidia is usually conservative when moving on to a finer process technology but seems like this time round, they are determined to get there ahead of AMD. This move is risky but probably Nvidia has done some serious simulation and prototyping to estimate the yield and stability of the TSMC 40G process technology. The first GPUs on 40nm process technology will be the mobile parts codenamed N10x, the successor to the current 65/55nm NB9x. Nvidia is expected to apply a die shrink to their desktop parts too to lower cost and thermal envelope so there might be a chance to see a GX2 solution for GT200.

26 August 2008 - Research In Motion (RIM) today debuted the new BlackBerry® Bold™ smartphone in Singapore. The BlackBerry Bold smartphone builds on the proven BlackBerry® smartphone platform with enhanced communications and multimedia capabilities, and is the first BlackBerry smartphone to support tri-band HSDPA high-speed networks around the world. The BlackBerry Bold smartphone is expected to be available in Singapore from late September 2008. Pricing and service plans will be announced separately by RIM’s carrier partners.

26 August 2008 - ECS introduce an innovative motherboard, G43T-WM, supporting Intel® Remote Wake Technology which can switch ON a computer that is connected to an internet from a remote computer. The major difference between current “Remote Wake” PC solutions is that it could be resumed by remote device in a sleep mode to avoid unnecessary power consumption with PC fully on. Users wake up their home PCs from sleep mode instead of keeping their home PCs ON all day.

23 August 2008 - Albatron is gearing up to roll out its first Mini Tablet PC, dubbed the “Tee PC”, whose prototype was first shown at Computex 2008 (June). The 18.8x11.3x 1.3 cm dimensions and 343 grams give you an idea of how slim and portable the Tee PC really is. The CPU used with the Tee PC is a 400 MHz ARM926. The Tee PC comes with 128 MB of Nand flash memory as well as 128MB of SO-DIMM DDR memory. An SD Card expansion slot is also located on the tablet for removable mass storage.
