That's interesting... I didn't know that you could look into the future. :p |

depends on what cooling they use. if this 4GHz didn't require the use of extreme-cooling, we definitely could see a 6GHz with LN2 cooling. |

I saw something interesting instead. It showed that the phenomII could outperform the Q9400 in quite a number of gaming benchies. Didn't know that the Q6600 could outperform the Q9400 by this big a margin.
Edit: The previous benchies all showed that the phenomII outperforming the phenom clock to clock. How come you declare the PhenomII even slower instead? |

 | i think that isa good number but all say that the new amd cpus can be clocked at 5GHz.... we dont have this screenshot yet |

 | Phenom 2 against Q9550 and Q9650 at the same clock will be quite a good comparison. If Phenom 2 lives up to the hype, my switch to Intel may be short-lived. |

Exactly,I would love to see how this phenom performs against a same clocked core2 45nm processor.
Im between a core i7 920 and a upcoming phenom 945.Who knows..AMD may pull out a great cpu that can efficiently compete against the
core i7s.
After all, who expected the 4870 to compete with N-vidia's high end card. |
